Data Collection
This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share personal data with any developer-owned external server. Reminder data and user preferences are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API and remain on your device.
We do not collect user data now, and we do not plan to collect user data in the future. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before any new collection begins.
How It Works
Vivies Reminder lets you create local reminders from Chrome's side panel. Chrome alarms check reminder schedules while Chrome is running. When a reminder is due, the extension displays a Chrome system notification and can optionally play a local reminder sound through an offscreen document.
Network Requests
Vivies Reminder does not request host permissions.
The extension does not communicate with developer-owned servers or third-party services for its reminder workflow.
No reminder data is collected for external analytics, logged to developer-owned servers, or shared with third parties.
Third-Party Services
This extension does not use third-party analytics, tracking, advertising, telemetry, or data broker services.
Permissions
The extension requires the following permissions, each used only for the stated purpose:
storage: Save reminders, reminder messages, schedules, language preference, theme preference, and side panel state locally on device.
alarms: Run local reminder checks and notification cleanup timers.
notifications: Display reminder notifications to the user.
offscreen: Play reminder sounds from an offscreen document when the extension UI is closed.
sidePanel: Provide the reminder management interface in Chrome's side panel.
Local Storage
All extension data remains on your device. Local storage may include:
Reminders: Reminder names, messages, schedules, icons, colors, notification settings, sound settings, snooze settings, and active notification state.
Preferences: Theme, language, and side panel state.
Feature State: Local enable/disable state for the reminder engine.

Manually clear extension/browser storage
Delete reminders from the extension UI
User Rights
You can:
Review locally stored extension data from Chrome extension tools
Delete stored data by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension storage
Create, edit, pause, or delete reminders from the side panel
